Prevent Cargo Theft and Reefer load refusals
You can configure Sense & Track to generate an alarm whenever the trailer stops or starts moving unexpectedly. Even if your trailer is parked, and the Sense & Track unit is set in battery-conserving sleep mode, it will “wake up” and alert you within minutes after it begins to move.
By adding door open/close and hook/unhook sensors, you can also be alerted when potential security breaches occur. Several customers have reported that they received alarms of suspicious behavior, pinged the trailer, located it off-course, and notified the police, who caught the thieves either before or while they were unloading the cargo.
Our reefer customers also report that temperature sensors enable them to preload, haul, and unload temperature sensitive cargo, such as produce, meat, and ice cream without worrying that consignees with temperature guns will reject the load for being out-of-range.
